MusicBot is free and open source software. By using it you accept these terms.
1. Use of the software
MusicBot is a Windows desktop application for managing song requests during live streams. You may use it free of charge, modify it and distribute it under the terms of the repository's license.
2. Compliance with third-party services
MusicBot integrates with external platforms. It is your responsibility to comply with each one's terms:
- YouTube — audio playback is performed via yt-dlp. You must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service.
- TikTok — connecting to TikTok Live chat is subject to TikTok's Terms.
- Twitch — access to the Twitch API is subject to Twitch's Terms of Service.
- Kick — use of the Kick API is subject to its current terms of service.
3. Permitted use
MusicBot is designed for personal use during live streams. The following are not permitted:
- Downloading or distributing copyrighted content in bulk.
- Automating requests in a fraudulent or abusive manner.
- Any activity that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
4. No warranties
MusicBot is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous availability, compatibility with future versions of integrated platforms, or the absence of errors.
5. Limitation of liability
The developers of MusicBot shall not be liable for direct, indirect or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use the software, including account suspensions on third-party platforms.
6. Changes to the terms
These terms may be updated. Changes will be reflected on this page with a new update date. Continued use of the software implies acceptance of the current terms.
